5 out of 5 stars Who Cares if they're Gluten Free -- oh, I do!   December 23, 2008
A. DeGrenier (Pioneer Valley, Western Massachusetts)
I tried these crackers yesterday at a school holiday party with my kids. The BIG SIGN posted: GLUTEN FREE--so naturally everyone moved on to the cookies, cakes, pies, etc...Not me!

These crackers were really wonderful. Very crispy and very flavorful. Am ordering a box today!

These crackers are absolutely delicious, whether you are a celiac or not. The order arrived on time and was in perfect condition.

5 out of 5 stars A terrific little snack cracker with a wholesome and unique flavor   November 19, 2008
Violet Lane
I first got a box of these at the local natural food store. I had just started a gluten and dairy free diet, and was looking for a cookie or cracker type snack food I could eat. Most gluten and dairy free items I had tried so far were utterly unappealing, so I was not expecting much from these crackers, but boy did they surprise me. I really love the rich, complex flavor that the combination of different grains gives. It's a unique and complex flavor, and I find that I am not interested in throwing 10 or 20 into my mouth in a sitting like I might have done with wheat thins or a traditional small cookie. I think this is great, because it ends up being what a snack should be - just a few to satisfy my hungry taste buds - not a 500 calorie gorging.

Amazon's price is also terrific on this 12 box pack, I save almost $2 per box by buying them here instead of at the local organic food store.

About the negative reviews I read on these - I don't think you should expect that something gluten, dairy, and sugar free will taste anything like a traditional cracker. That's 3 pretty major cracker ingredients that are missing from these. If you try these knowing that, I think you will probably not be disappointed. I definitely recommend buying 1 box at your local store to see if you like them before you order 12 at a time from Amazon. You can also try the different flavors - I think there are 6. I've tried 2 and the original flavor is still my favorite.

5 out of 5 stars Best GF cracker ever   October 30, 2008
turtledreamer (East Coast USA)
Mary's Gone Crackers Original Flavor is the best gluten-free cracker that I have ever tried. I have to get extra because even my husband who is not gluten intolerant loves them.

1 out of 5 stars Revolting - not like "real" crackers at all   October 21, 2008
Patricia S. Martinez (Sacramento, CA United States)
I was looking for a good gluten-free cracker for wine and cheese parties - something that my friends and family might want to eat too - and these are NOT it. They are nasty. Even the dog would not eat these terrible crackers. They taste and look like burnt birdseed. Try the Glutino crackers or rusks instead. The Glutino rusks work well with soft or spreadable cheeses like brie or chevre. They do not crumble so easily as most GF crackers.
