pumpkinhead November 19, 2008 Jo Dominguez I found this canned pumpkin kind of bland and it needs extra spices to boost the flavor of it.
Extremely Poor Amazon packaging/ great product October 14, 2008 Focused Animal Wellness 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
Receive several dented cans - I have ordered this product several times. It is wonderful to be used in animal diets. I have been working with animals and it has been a life saver for many animals that I have helped I believe that it would be unfair to fault the product or the manufacturer. From what I understand from the UPS driver, it Amazon who is at fault for extremely poor packaging practices. For some strange reason Amazon seems to be very cheap with its use of packing tape as well as internal packing.
Too many dented cans October 10, 2008 K (NC, USA) 5 out of 6 found this review helpful
I usually buy this at our local Whole Foods or Harris Teeter it's a great product but when I ordered it from Amazon all but 2 out of 12 cans arrived dented. Amazon quickly replaced the order but in the replacement case 9 cans were dented. That is really unacceptable. They did refund my $ but I really want the pumpkin so I am going to try one more time and order it again and see if I can get a case of undented cans.
great baby food! September 22, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I bought this item to freeze as baby food for my 8 month old. She had her first helping of it tonight for dinner and loved it! I put it into an ice cube tray of 1 oz cubes and then defrost as needed. Tonight, after it was defrosted, i added a bit of rice baby cereal and it filled her up! I love that it's organic and i can feel safe feeding it to her without hydrogentated oils and high fructose corn syrup. I will now use this to make our family pumpkin bread and pumpkin pies. I will also be looking into more of their organic pureed canned foods for freezing!
Definitely different than Libby's July 23, 2008 Lynnette Hafken (United States) Blander maybe? Not sure whether it is supposed to be this way, or I am just used to Libby's, but it is definitely different. I didn't really like it in my pie, but it has been good to add to things like pancakes and breads.
