I read the good reviews on this bar and decided to give them a try. Boy am I glad I did! I was skeptical - after all, they're spirulina and cashew. My first reaction to the flavor's name was 'eeew'. On top of that, the package is green and the bar itself is green. Glad I didn't let this stop me. I took my first bite and ... YUM! This bar is crazy delicious.
I still don't know how they can make such a healthy bar taste so good. This little bar has no cholesterol and 9 grams of protein!

I'm a connaisseur of power bars. I've had Cliff, Lara, Luna, Pure, Renew Life, Smart Monkey, ThinkOrganic, and a host of others. This is the WORST power bar I've ever tasted. It was coated with a layer of oil. It tasted so terrible, I took one bite and threw the rest away. I smelled it first though to make sure it wasn't rancid. It wasn't.
It's hard to describe the taste. If anyone has tasted the "Space Food Sticks" that were around in the 1970s, then you know exactly what this bar tastes like.
This bar is a complete waste of money and calories.

"Very misleading name"? Does it say somewhere on the packaging that they taste like spirulina & cashews? I'm confused! That review is not only unhelpful but silly as well. And to those of you who are upset at the high fat content...did you not read the nutritional facts before you bought them? Just curious! I was impressed that something so healthy could have such good flavor. Sometimes I'll eat half as a mid-morning snack and the other half later in the day. I was surprised at how filling they can be. The point I really want to make is this; It is a raw organic live food bar, not a candy bar...BUT my eleven year old son even likes them. There is definately something to be said for that! Obviously the Raw Revolution is not for everyone, but I am definately a fan.

I should tell you that I wear dentures. The gooey texture of this product made it difficult for me to chew. I could not distinquish a flavor, good or bad, just bland. I would not purchase this again.
Still searching for gluten free products that are more like popular granola bars.

these bars are great for the fast pace family who can't always have a balanced meal. they are especially handy when at the ball field and or on the run to dance lessons they also are rich enough in nutrition to satisfy a adult appetite for a supplementary breakfast or lunch. enjoy!
